Sixth form hosted its annual ’Young Driver Education’ sessions and we were delighted once again to welcome Derbyshire Police, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and Derbyshire County Council.
Three powerful and informative sessions were delivered:
- ‘Driving under the influence’
- ‘Distracted driving’
- Speeding/Peer pressure’
Many of our students are learning to drive, have recently passed their test or are regularly passengers of young drivers, so this is the perfect time to be addressing safe ways of approaching this important subject.
