Hello Year 6 families – we’re really looking forward to seeing you this week to welcome you to Friesland!
Some important bits of information for you to know before you arrive here on Wednesday morning:
- Please bring with you a packed lunch for Wednesday. This is because we may not have all of you set up on our tills in time for lunch on Wednesday
- You will need be dropped off at the Nursery Avenue gates between 8.30 and 8.40. Our staff and student helpers will be there to meet you
- Parents/carers – you will not be able to drive/park on to the school site. Nursery Avenue is a small and busy street at the start and end of the school day, please park on one of the adjacent streets and walk or use alternative transport if possible
- Students will be available to be picked up from 2.20
A few reminders:
University trip consent form
We are still missing about 100 of the trip consent forms for Thursday’s visit to Nottingham University. Without the form, we cannot take your child with us. Please visit the School Forms page to download the form. This can be completed digitally and returned via email. Paper copies will be available from staff on the gate on Wednesday morning
Admissions, GDPR/biometrics and medical forms
If you have not completed these yet, please do so before Wednesday – these forms are all online and available to complete on the School Forms page. The GDPR/biometrics form is particularly important as without this returned we are unable to set your child up on our tills for lunches
Parents’ evening
This takes place on Thursday, starting at 6pm. Please make your way to the school hall. Parking will be available across the school site
