We take Literacy seriously at The Two Counties Trust and as part of our commitment to Literacy we calendar six DEAR days during each academic year. Today is our next DEAR day! DEAR stands for “Drop Everything and Read,” and functions as a celebration of reading designed to remind us all to make reading a priority activity in our lives. We have a range of activities planned for the day, including more information about our TTCT super reader challenge. Students will also read their own book at the start of every lesson and a reading book will be an essential part of equipment for all students during DEAR. We are looking forward to this brilliant day and celebrating the joy of reading as part of Team Friesland.
