Students at Friesland School are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results, as they get ready to take their next steps in their education journey.  

Staff and students have come together to mark the achievements of all the students, who have worked exceptionally hard over the past couple of years to secure these grades. 

Alongside the continued success of the academy, which is part of The Two Counties Trust, some particular individual highlights include: 

  • Kyna Love: Seven 9’s, three 8’s  
  • Josie Durrant: Seven 9’s, two 8’s, one 7  
  • Isla Higgins: Six 9’s, four 8’s  
  • Minnie-May Padley: Five 9’s, three 8’s, one 7  
  • Douglas Main: Five 9’s, two 8’s, one 6  
  • Gabi Brown: Four 9’s, five 8’s, one 7  
  • Lara Dawkins: Three 9’s, five 8’s, one 7  
  • Kira Zadarko: Two 9’s, six 8’s, one 7  
  • Charlie Barber: Two 9’s, four 8’s, three 7’s, one 6  
  • Megan Sisson: One 9, Five 8’s, Two 7’s, two 6’s  

Craig Patterson, Headteacher, at Friesland School, said:  

“Congratulations to all of our students receiving their results today. I would like to thank our families for their support and recognise the hard work and commitment of all of our students, especially after such a difficult and disruptive few years.  

“As a school we are so proud of what the class of 2022 has achieved, with their results today the culmination of five years of ambition, resilience and commitment.  I would also like to recognise the hard work and teamwork shown by all of the staff at Friesland in supporting our students to be successful.  

“I would like to wish all of our leavers the very best for the future, whatever they choose to do next, and look forward to welcoming many back to our 6th Form in September.”
