Year 11 students at Friesland School are marking a key milestone today after receiving their GCSE results. The schools achieved its highest Attainment 8 result in eight years, and after months of preparation and hard work, pupils are now looking ahead to their next steps, whether continuing their studies, starting an apprenticeship or pursuing other opportunities.

There are plenty of individual achievements to celebrate across the year group, including:

  • Poppy W achieved grade 7 or above in her GCSEs, with an impressive four grade 9’s and five grade 8’s
  • Jayla T also achieved grade 7 or above in her GCSEs, with an impressive amazing four grade 9’s, three grade 8’s and three grade 7’s
  • Zebulun P celebrates a fantastic set of GCSEs, achieving achieved grade 7 or above in her GCSEs, with an impressive two grade 9’s, five grade 8’s, and two grade 7’s and a Distinction*
  • Lukas B achieved an impressive four grade 9’s, three grade 8’s, one grade 7 and two grade 6’s
