There were scenes of delight at Friesland Sixth Form this morning as students opened their A Level results, with 78% achieving grades A* to C across all their subjects. The school, part of The Two Counties Trust, has praised the students for their commitment and hard work over the past two years.

While the achievements of the whole year group speak for themselves, a small number of individual highlights include:
- Yasmin L secured A*, A, A in history, maths and chemistry. Yasmin has earned a place at the University of Oxford to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
- Joshua B secured A*, A*, A* in computer science, maths and further maths. He has earned a place at University of Nottingham to study Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
- Sophie R secured A*, A*, A* in chemistry, maths and physics. She has earned a place to study Chemistry at the University of Nottingham.
- Matt B Matt A, A, A in physics maths and further maths. He has secured a place at the University of Edinburgh to study Astrophysics
- Harry J secured A*, A, A in business studies, geography and PE. He has secured a place at university to study Sport and Exercise Science.
- Archie S, Max. W and Everly U all secured three Distinction*’s in The Cambridge Technical Diploma in sport and physical activity. Archie and Everly have secured places to study Sport at university and Max intends to join the Navy.
